I was moved and pleased to be invited to the last film in the 2025 season of the Illawarra Film Society, the program for which was curated by Hazel, who died exactly nine months agao today.
It was wonderful to attend with Mae, Augusta, and Julian to see What’s Up, Doc?, which Hazel ranked as her all-time favourite movie.
Jeannine, who took over as IFS Curator, delivered a lovely tribute to Hazel, warmly applauded by the audience.
