Ally Camp 2025

Groups of people chatting during a conference break at A11y Camp 2025
As promised in my previous post about A11y Camp 2025, video recordings of all the presentations are now online.

You can watch all the talks in any order you like, or click the video link below to start with my presentation.

Incidentally, the image at the top of this post is of a superbly catered break at the conference. This is always a highlight of conferences for me, standing around chatting with great food and coffee, meeting new people and catching up with old chums. You can see me at the left of this shot, and you can click the image for a larger view. If you know your Australian accessibility folks, you’re bound to spot someone you know.

Oh, and the tall bloke in the middle is shucking fresh oysters on demand: incredibly delicious, almost a performance art in itself, and a luxuriously welcome addition to conference catering.

I should also mention the now traditional A11y Camp sketchnoting. You can see the full graphic recording with transcript on the A11y Camp website. Amazing stuff, capturing not just the content of the talks but the character and personality of the presenters.

The extract below is of the section that illustrated my talk (my bit’s across the bottom). Again, you can click to get a more detailed view.

Sketch note of part of Day One at Ally Camp 2025

It really was a marvellous conference, a “don’t miss” event on the Australian digital accessibility calendar. I’m very proud to have been selected to present and grateful to the organisers for their brilliant event orchestration, the other speakers for continuing to contribute to my professional development, and the attendees for their warm appreciation of my talk.

Can’t wait til next year!
